Een rozen kaart

Vandaag begint weer een nieuwe challenge bij Stamping Sensations

  Het thema is:  Bloemen.  (De bloemen moeten wel gestempeld zijn).

A new challenge starts today at Stamping Sensations.

The theme is: Beautiful Blooms ( The flowers must be stamped)

Het papier is van Maja Design. Her en der heb ik wat witte verf en frantage erop gestrooid.

De rozen stempel is van Marianne Design.  Ik heb het al een hele poos maar nooit iets mee gedaan. Gekleurd met distress inkt. (Spun sugar, victorian velvet, Seedless preserve, bundled sage, peelded paint, scattered straw)

Verder heb ik qua versiering niets erop gedaan, een tekst kan ik eventueel altijd nog erop doen.

The DP is from Maja Design. I dabbed around with some white paint and used some frantage.

The rose stamp is from Marianne Design, coloured with distress ink. ((Spun sugar, victorian velvet, Seedless preserve, bundled sage, peelded paint, scattered straw).

I haven't added anything elso to the card, I can allways put on a sentiment later.

Winter bomen of bloemen

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij Stamping Sensations. Het thema is:

Winter bomen  / Bloemen.

De bomen of bloemen moeten wel gestempeld zijn!. 

Natuurlijk mag je bloemen of uitgestanste bomen erbij doen te versiering zolang we duidelijk de gestempelde winter bomen en/of bloemen zien.

Please note that the trees or winter flowers must be stamped!

You can add  flowers or trees as embellishments if you like as long as we clearly see the stamped trees or the stamped flowers.

Ik heb weer een landschapje gemaakt. De bomen op de achtergrond zijn gemaakt met een stempel van Marianne Design. James de beer met de kerstboom is een stempel van LOTV. Ik heb hem uitgeknipt en verhoogd opgeplakt voor een diepte effect.

Gekleurd met distress inkt, glitters gedaan op de bomen, ster, ballen en bontrandje en witte verf op de bloemen en bladeren voor de sneeuweffect.

I made another landscape card. The trees in the background is a stamp from Marianne Design. James Tree is from LOTV. I fussycut him and stuck him on him on the card with 3D-tape to give it more depth.  Coloured with distress inkt and glitters on the trees, star, decorations, fur on hat. I used some white paint for the snow effect on the leaves and flowers.

Ik had even een blogpauze ivm de feestdagen maar ik ben er weer en met een kaart gemaakt voor 

de Don en Daisy challenge blog waar ik de eer heb om GDT te zijn.

Don en Daisy kerst

Bedankt voor al jullie lieve reacties bij mijn vorige kerstkaart, blijft altijd zo leuk om te lezen en dat maakt bloggen zo leuk.

Vandaag weer een kerstkaartje om te laten zien. Ik zag laatst deze Don en Daisy stempel en hoewel ik nog genoeg stempels heb vond ik deze zo lief dat ik het niet kon laten liggen.

Another Cristmas card to show you today. Although I have lots of stamps I recently say this Don en Daisy stamp and couldn't resist buying it.

Don and Daisy (Marianne Design) are coloured with distress ink and they are dancing in a sourrounding made with a MD Creatable. The sentiment is also a stamp from MD.

The poinsettias and branches are made with MD dies.

Don in de sneeuw

 Hopelijk krijgen we niet zo'n strenge winter dat we bergen sneeuw moeten ruimen zoals de arme Don op mijn kaart.

I hope we won't have a winter in which we have to shovel snow like the poor Don on my card. I don't like snow at all.

Voordat ik met de kerstkaarten ga beginnen heb ik nog een zomers kaartje gemaakt.

Kaartje voor een 80 jarige

Een kaart op verzoek maken is altijd leuk vind ik, dan heb je tenminste een doel voor je kaart, alleen ken ik de 80 jarige dame voor wie deze kaart bestemd is niet persoonlijk en dan vind ik het moeilijk. Een CAS kaart, eentje vol tierelantijnen, vintage, je kan alle kanten uit. Denkend dat bloemen meestal wel mooi wordt gevonden heb ik deze bloemen kaart gemaakt.

Making a card on request is always nice to do, only I don't know the 80 year old lady, for who this card is for, personaly and that makes it difficult. Will she like a CAS card, one full of embellishments, a vintage one.... Well thinking that most people like flowers I made this flower card for her.

Nieuwe Challenge ATSC

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC met het thema: Things with wings, dingen met vleugels.

Dit is mijn DT kaart voor de challenge maar neem ook een kijkje op de ATSC blog want mijn teamgenotes hebben weer prachtige creaties gemaakt als voorbeeld.

This is my DT card for the challenge but you should also pop over to the ATSC blog, my teamies have made gorgeous creations.

Het papier is van Maja. Alle randjes zijn met de hand genaaid. Ik blijf het een leuk werkje vinden en het effect vind ik ook mooi dus dat blijft er voorlopig wel in.

De stempel is van Bildmalarna - LWF Autumn day, gekleurd met distress inkt. Zoals jullie zien kan ze ook in de lente of zomer gebruikt worden, het ligt eraan hoe je ze kleurt.

De klimopbladeren zijn gemaakt met een creatable van Marianne design.

Het kantje is ook van Marianne design

Ik heb wat witte acrylverf gedept op de bloemen en bladeren om ze beter bij het papier te laten passen.

The DP is from Maja Design. The stitching is done by hand. I love doing the sewing by hand and I like the effect so you'll still be seeing this for a while.

The stamp is from Bildmalarna - LWF Autumn day, coloured with distress ink. As you can see, she can be used in the spring or summer as well, it just depends on how you colour her.

The ivy leaves are made with a creatable from Marianne design.

The lace is also from MD

I dabbed white paint on the leaves and flowers to make them match the DP.

Een trouwkaart - ATSC

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC en als thema hebben we: een trouwkaart.

A new challenge starts today at ATSC with the theme: A wedding card.

Ik heb een center step kaart gemaakt, een leuk model vind ik en ook makkelijk om te maken.

Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Magnolia.

Het stempel is van Whimsey - Bird swing, gekleurd met distress inkt.
Tekst stempel van Kaiserkraft.

Gebruikte mallen: Spellbinder, Marianne Design, Magnolia doohickey.

I made a centre step card. I like the shape and it's easy to make.

Een briefkaart

Dit is een kaartje wat er al een paar weken lag te vallen. Er moest nog iets bij maar wat??

Gisterenavond heb ik er nog een paar bloemen en nog wat parels erbij gedaan en toen vond ik het al wat beter.

This is a card wat has been lying around for weeks. It missed something but I didn't know what.

Last night I put a few more flowers on it, added some pearls and it looks better know.

Het papier is van Maja. Alle randjes zijn met de hand genaaid.

 De mooie vintage roos briefkaart is een stempel van Joy, gekleurd met distress inkt en H2O. In de hoeken heb ik wat frantage gedaan en erachter zit wat verbandgaas.

 De donkere bloemen zijn ook van Maja papier gemaakt.

Gebruikte mallen: Spellbinder, Marianne Design, Joy, Cheery Lynn.

The DP is from Maja. I did all the sewing by hand.

The lovely vintage rose postcard is a stamp from Joy. Coloured with distress inkt and 

Twinkling H2O. 

I used frantage on the corners and I put some bandage (looks like cheesecloth) behind it.

The dark flowers are made with Maja DP.

Achter de wolken...

Het is weer woensdag en dus tijd voor mijn Bildmalarna kaartje.

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for my Bildmalarna card.

Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Bildmalarna Sweet tones - Purple flowers en een restje Maja design.

Ik heb gemat op kraft, de randjes zijn met de hand genaaid.

De stempel is LWF Umbella en het is gekleurd met distress inkt (refills) en stickles voor op haar vleugels.

De tekst is een stempel van Marianne Design.

The DP is Bildmalarna Sweet tones - Purple flowers and a left over Maja design.

I matted it on kraft and did the sewing by hand.

The image is LWF Umbella, coloured with distress ink (refills) and some stickles on her wings.

LWF Rain

Vandaag laat ik jullie een kaartje zien wat ik heb gemaakt met een van de nieuwste Bildmalarna stempels.

Het schattige stempel is LWF - Rain. Ik heb haar gekleurd met distress inkt.

Het papier is Wild flowers - wind flower blue en ook de kleine vlinder bedeltje komt uit de Bildmalarna shop.

LWF sitting

Toen ik deze sketch zag wist ik meteen dat ik een kaart ermee moest maken. 

Het is een rechthoekig kaart maar met een vierkant erop en je kan er werkelijk alle kanten mee op.

When I saw this sketch I knew I had to make a card with it

It's a rectangle but also has a sqare on it and you can go all sorts of ways with it.

Het papier is Bildmalarna Sweet tones - purple flowers.. Ik heb de voor en achterkant gebruikt. Gemat op kraft en alle randjes met de hand genaaid.

Het lief stempeltje is LWF - Sit. Ik heb haar gekleurd met distress inkt en H2O.

Kleuren: tattered rose, vintage photo, worn lipstick, antique linen, walnut stain, pumice stone, bundles sage, peelded paint en H2O english lavender. Op haar jurkje en vleugeltjes heb ik ook wat glitters gedaan.

Het tekst rondje is van lotv. Kantjes van marianne Design en de markt.

Een kaart met knopen

Het is vandaag weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC met als thema:  

Mooie knopen.

Het is maar goed dat ik van alles bewaar, mijn oude knopen komen goed van pas.

Het papier is van Maja, alle randjes heb ik met distress inkt walnut stain bewerkt en met de hand genaaid.
 Voor de verandering heb ik een 'non cute' kaart gemaakt. De stempels zijn van Marianne design.

Verder nog gebruikt:: Nestabilite, cheery lynn mal, MS pons, magnolia doohickey, plakparels, kantjes, speldje.

For a change I made a 'non cute' card. The stamps are from Marianne design.

Een beetje Lente

Buiten is het nog winter dus heb ik deze kaartje gemaakt om jullie allemaal een beetje lente gevoel te geven.

Hopelijk hoeven we niet lang te wachten totdat het echt lekker weer wordt.

Outside it's still winter so I made this card to bring you all a little spring. 

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the warmer weather.

Het lief stempeltje is een van de nieuwste Bildmalarna stempels LWF - Sit.
Ik zou willen dat ik net zoals zij ook lekker in de zon kon gaan zitten.
Het stempeltje heb ik gekleurd met distress inkt.
Het papier is ook van Bildmalarna, Wild Flower - Anemone and Picnic butterflies.

De gebruikte ponsen en mallen: Nestabilitie, Avec randpons, takjes pons, Marianne Design hekje, Cheerylyn vlinders.
Het hekje heb ik gestanst uit ribbelkarton en wat bewerkt met witte verf.

I wish I was sitting in the sunshine like she is. 

I coloured her with distress ink.

Vandaag begint onze nieuwe challenge bij ATSC met als thema:  LENTE

Ik vind tulpen echte lente bloemen en heb daarom deze beer met een bosje tulpen in zijn pootjes uit de oude doos gehaald en heb deze criss cross kaart ermee gemaakt.

Our new challenge at ATSC starts today with the theme: BRING ON SPRING

I think tulips are real spring flowers so I got this bear with a bunch of tulips in his paws out of the dust and made this criss cross card with it.

Het DP is van The girls Paperie. Gemat op kraft. Na het randjes met de hand naaien heb ik nu nog een verslaving erbij, ik 'moet' kraft gebruiken. In de eerste instanties had ik groen bij het papier gezocht maar ik kon er geen kijk op krijgen, ook al stond het fleurig ik vond het geen 'Marlies' kaart. Met kraft wel haha, ik hoop wel dat ik ooit vanaf kom, ik heb nog zoveel kleuren cardstok liggen en dat komt zo nooit op. Nu het helemaal af is was groen als basis misschien toch wel mooi geweest maar ja, nu is het te laat.

Het stempel is Popcorn the bear - bunches of love, gekleurd met distress inkt en H2O.  (brushed corderoy, vintage photo,  peeled paint, forest moss, scattered straw, spun sugar en H2O apple blossom).

Gezet in een Marianne Design Creatable. De vlinder is gemaakt met een mal van Cheery Lynn.

The DP is The girls Paperie, matted on kraft. I'm afraid I've got another addiction, after having to stitch everything I now 'have' to use kraft. I started with green with the papers it looked fine but it didn't look like a 'Marlies' card at all so I went back to the kraft and now it does haha. I hope I get over this someday otherwise  I'll never get rid of all my coloured cardstock. Now that it's finished I think green as a base would have looked nice but it's too late now.

The stamp is Popcorn the bear- bunches of love, coloured with distress ink and H2O.

Put on a Marianne Design Creatable.  The butterfly is made with a Cheery Lynn die.

Mimosa with guitar

Ik heb weer een kaartje gemaakt met een van de nieuwste stempels van Bildmalarna.

Deze schattige stempel heet Mimosa guitar. 

I made a card with one of the new Bildmalarna stamps.

This adorable stamp is Mimosa guitar. Isn't she cute!

Het papier is ook uit de nieuwe lijn en heet Sweet tones - Purple flowers. Ik heb de voor en achterkant gebruikt en gemat op kraft.  Alle randjes heb ik met vintage photo distress inkt bewerkt.

Het lintje is Sheer elegance 15mm pearl van The pretty little ribbon shop. Het kantje is van de markt. Bloemen van WO.

Verder heb ik een Marianne Design Creatable en een Joy hoekmal gebruikt.

The paper is also from the new series Sweet tones - Purple flowers. I used the front and back, matted it on kraft. I distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink.

The ribbon is Sheer elegance 15mm pearl from The pretty little ribbon shop. The lace is from the market. Flowers from van WO.

Furthermore I used a Marianne Design Creatable and a Joy corner die.

Mimosa heb ik gekleurd met distress inkt en derwent potloden (voor de schaduw). De lucht heb ik gemaakt met chalk.

I coloured mimosa with distress ink refills, shaded with pencils. The sky was made with chalks.

Flowers and Ribbon

Het is vandaag de eerst maandag van de maand en dat betekent dat een nieuwe challenge begint bij

Ik heb op mij kaart o.a. de volgende artikelen van The pretty little ribbon shop gebruikt:

Het paarse lint heeft een hele mooie zijde glans, zo mooi in het echt!

Het papier is het altijd mooie Maya papier en de stempel is van LOTV - Emma presents.
Tekst stempel en de mal zijn van Marianne design.

Guest designer Card Mania

Enige tijd geleden ben ik gevraagd of ik guest Designer wilde zijn voor een challenge bij Card Mania. 

Ik vond het zo leuk en een hele eer om gevraagd te worden en natuurlijk zei ik meteen ja!

Vandaag begint de challenge met mij als guest designer en de thema is
Winter Wonderland.

A while ago I was asked if I would like to be a Guest Designer for a challenge at Card Mania.
I was thrilled and so honered that I was asked and of course I said yes!
The challenge with me as a guest starts today, the theme is:
Winter wonderland

Ik heb voor het eerst een center step kaart gemaakt. Het model stond nog steeds op mijn 'to do' lijst. Het is een leuk model om te maken en het zal zeker niet de laatste keer zijn.
Het papier is van Bildmalarna Frosty Christmas - Mr Snowman. De stempel is ook van Bildmalarna Late party snowman.
De bomen, gemaakt met een Marianne Design mal heb ik wat bewerkt met Aleens true snow. het hekje is van Crealies. Verder wat bloemen, takjes en bolletjes lint.

I made a center step card. One of the models that was still on my 'to do' list. It's a great shape to make and it won't be the last! 
The paper is fromBildmalarna Frosty Christmas - Mr Snowman. The stamp is also from Bildmalarna - Late party snowman.
The trees are made with a Marianne Design die. I dabbed some Alyeens true snow. The little fence is made with a die from Crealies. Further more, flowers, braches and some lace.
