GDT kaart voor ABC Challenge

Ik stond met deze kaart in de top 5 bij de The ABC challenge en ik mag in December GDT zijn.

Altijd leuk en een eer om te zijn.

Vandaag begint daar een nieuwe challenge met het thema W= voor wensen.

 Dit is mij GDT kaart.

Het is ongeveer dezelfde design als mijn vorige kaart maar door ander papier, kleuren en net iets andere details kijkt het toch heel verschillend.

The base design is the same as the card in my last post but with the different papers, colours and little changes with the embellies it looks quite different.

Bloemen - ATSC

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC. Het thema is: Bloemen.

Je mag bloemen op de afbeelding, papier en als versiersel gebruiken, maakt niet uit als we maar ergens bloemen zien. (vergeet niet een stempel te gebruiken) 

 Mijn DT maatjes hebben weer prachtige voorbeelden gemaakt.

Nog even in de vintage sfeer

Mijn voorraad vintage kaarten is op. Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor de voorraad, altijd makkelijk om alvast iets te hebben voor het geval dat.

I was all out of vintage cards so I made this one for supply. Allways handy to have one just incase. 

Het papier en afbeelding zijn beide van Pion. Gemat op kraft en alle randjes met de hand genaaid.

Hoekje en brad bewerkt met frantage.

I put some frantage on the bras corner and brad.

60 jaar getrouwd

Mijn schoonouders waren verleden week 60 jaar getrouwd en ik had deze kaart voor hen gemaakt.

My parents-in-law celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last week and this is the card I made for them.

Het papier is van Pion. Gemat op kraft.

Een trouwfoto van mijn schoonouders ingescand en een beetje frantage erop gedaan.

Het vogeltje heeft mijn dochter voor me gemaakt met poppenklei, dat spul weegt helemaal niks en is  perfect voor op kaarten. De mal wat ze heeft gebruikt is eigenlijk voor fondant.

Ze heeft ook het bloemetje op de tag gehaakt.

The photo is a scanned foto of my parents-in-law.

My daughter made the little bird for me with dollsclay, it weighs nothing at all and perfect for on cards. She used a mould meant for decorations on cupcakes.

She also made the crochet flower, on the tag, for me

Weer voor een 80 jarige man

Mijn vader vroeg me om een kaart te maken voor een vriend van hem die binnenkort 80 wordt.

Het mocht ongeveer dezelfde zijn als die wat ik voor zijn verjaardag had gemaakt (zie post hier ) als er maar dezelfde tekst erop stond want die vond hij erg leuk.

De kaart op zich is wel anders geworden want twee dezelfde kaarten maak ik nooit.

My father asked me to make a card for a friend of his who will soon be 80 years old.

It could be the same card as the one I made for his birthday (see post hier) as long as it has the same quote on it. 

The card turned out different as I never make two the same cards but the quote is the same.

Het papier is van Pion, gemat op ribbelkarton.

De blauw/grijze bloemen zijn zelfgemaakt.

De vlinders zijn uit het papier geknipt.

GDT Penny Black en ATSC nieuwe challenge

Bij Penny Black and more mag ik GDT zijn voor de februari challenge.

Het thema is alles mag.

Ik had een kaart nodig zonder cute stempel dus heb ik deze kaart met alleen een PB tekst erop gemaakt en ook heb ik weer eens een center-step model gemaakt.

Deze kaart is ook meteen mijn DT voorbeeld voor onze nieuwe challenge bij ATSC met het thema:

Een kaart voor de voorraad

Ik heb veel Bildmalarna stempels maar deze "oudje" blijft een van mijn favorieten.

 Deze afbeelding is overal voor geschikt. dus tot gebruik gaat het in de voorraad doos.

This image is perfect for all sorts of occasions, so untill need it's going into the stash box.

Dit is een kaartmodel wat ik laatst tegenkwam, het patroon kan je Hier vinden. 

Het is weer eens wat anders en makkelijk om te maken.

Don in de sneeuw

 Hopelijk krijgen we niet zo'n strenge winter dat we bergen sneeuw moeten ruimen zoals de arme Don op mijn kaart.

I hope we won't have a winter in which we have to shovel snow like the poor Don on my card. I don't like snow at all.

Een vintage kerstkaart

Het was weer even geleden dat ik een vintage kaart had gemaakt vandaar een vintage kerstkaart.

Het is een criss cross kaart maar het kan ook gewoon open. Veel makkelijker vind ik in verband met neerzetten.

It's been a while since I made a vintage card so I decided to make a vintage Christmas card.

It's a criss-cross card but it also opens so it's more easy to stand.

Het papier is Maja, het plaatje van Pion. Ik heb er wat frantage op gedaan voor een extra sneeuw effect.

De twee middel grote rode rozen zijn zelfgemaakt.

De tekst stempel is van Wild Rose.

Ook al houd ik eigenlijk van de traditionele kerstkleuren, blauw/grijs vind ik ook erg mooi voor kerstkaarten. Dit is kerstkaart nummer twee. De volgende maak ik wel met rood en/of groen, denk ik dan, deze begon ook heeeel anders, zal sommige van jullie vast wel bekend in de oren klinken...

Although I like traditional Christmas colours, I also like blue/grey for Christmas cards. This is Christmas card number two. The next one will be in red or green, at least that is my intention, this one started off completely different, I bet that sounds very familiar to some of you.

Eerste kerstkaart van 2014

Allereerst wil ik iedereen bedanken voor de lieve reacties bij het kaart wat ik voor mijn vader had gemaakt.. Hij was er erg blij mee. 

Het bloggen en kaarten maken stond op een laag pitje, ik keek wel maar het kwam er vaak niet van om een reactie achter te laten. Maar ik begin weer als vanouds en jullie zullen ook wat vaker een kaart van mij voorbij zien komen. Dat is tenminste wel de bedoeling!

Terug naar mijn kaart.

Vandaag begint weer een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC. Het thema is Alles mag.

Makkelijker kan het niet.

Dit is mijn DT voorbeeld en meteen mijn eerste kerstkaart voor 2014.

First of all I would like to thank you for the lovely comments on the birthday card I made for my father. He was very pleased with it.

I haven't been blogging much and hardly got round to making a card. But things should be back to normal now and I will be blogging and card making more often.

Toch een mannenkaart

Zoals jullie misschien wel weten vind ik mannenkaarten maken niet leuk en daarom maak ik ze bijna nooit. Voor mijn vader maak ik echter een uitzondering. Hij vindt het leuk om een door mij gemaakte kaart te ontvangen en daarom heb ik voor zijn 80ste verjaardag deze kaart gemaakt.

Mochten jullie heb vreemd vinden dat ik een Engelse tekst erop heb gedaan voor een 80 jarige, mijn vader is Engelsman. Natuurlijk verstaat hij wel Nederlands maar ik vond deze tekst wel grappig.

As you might know I don't like making masculine cards and I hardly ever make them.  I made an exeption in making this card for the 80th birthday of my Dad. He likes my cards and really appreciates getting one.

If you are wondering why I put an English sentiment on a card for an 80 year old man who lives in the Netherlands, my Dad is English.

Toen ik deze stempel van LOTV zag "moest" ik het hebben. Ik vind het zo leuk en perfect voor een zomers kaartje. Vakantie heb ik nog niet maar je krijgt er wel zin in als je haar ziet zitten relaxen in de zon. 

When I saw this LOTV stamp I knew I "had" to have it. I think she is so cute and perfect for a summer card.

It makes me long for my holidays seeing her relaxing in the sun.

Een bedankje voor de juf.

Mijn dochter vroeg of ik een Merci doosje wilde pimpen die ze aan haar Jazz-Dance lerares wil geven.

De Juf geeft ook klassiek ballet les dus dit ballet danseresje stempel vond ik wel toepasselijk.

Ik heb een hoesje gemaakt zodat het doosje met chocolade eruit geschoven kan worden. 

De afmeting van de bovenkant van het doosje is net ietsjes groter dan die van een kaart. (15,5x15,5).

My daughter asked me to pimp a box of Merci chocolates that she wants to give her Jazz-Dance teacher.

The teacher also gives classic ballet lessons so I thought this little ballet dancer stamp was an appropriate choice.

I made a case around the box. sothat the chocolate box can be shoved out.

The measurements of the front are just a little bit bigger than a card.

Kaartje voor een 80 jarige

Een kaart op verzoek maken is altijd leuk vind ik, dan heb je tenminste een doel voor je kaart, alleen ken ik de 80 jarige dame voor wie deze kaart bestemd is niet persoonlijk en dan vind ik het moeilijk. Een CAS kaart, eentje vol tierelantijnen, vintage, je kan alle kanten uit. Denkend dat bloemen meestal wel mooi wordt gevonden heb ik deze bloemen kaart gemaakt.

Making a card on request is always nice to do, only I don't know the 80 year old lady, for who this card is for, personaly and that makes it difficult. Will she like a CAS card, one full of embellishments, a vintage one.... Well thinking that most people like flowers I made this flower card for her.

Polka dots

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC. We hebben gekozen voor het thema Polka dots (stippen).

Eerlijk gezegd had ik in de eerste instantie iets van stippen.... daar heb ik niets mee maar al zoekende tussen al mijn DP kwam ik van alles met tegen met stippen waaronder dit Pion papier.

Ik had ook nog een kaart zonder "poppetjes" en niet al te veel tierelantijnen nodig en heb daarom gekozen om alleen een tekst te stempelen met alleen bloemen als versiering. 

A new challenge starts today at ATSC. We chose the theme: Polka Dots.

To tell you the truth I thought polka dots... I haven't a thing with dots but looking through my DP I found allsorts with dots on allong with this Pion paper.

I also needed a card without an image and not a lot of embellishments so I chose to use a stamped sentiment with only flowers for decoration.

Een jaar zonneschijn

De zon is vandaag ver te zoeken, hopelijk gaat het wel weer schijnen, dit somber weer vind ik niet veel aan, maar ja als het maar droog blijft. 

Hadden we hier maar een heel jaar zonneschijn, lijkt me heerlijk.

There's no sun here yet today, hopefully it will start shining later on but most of all I hope it will stay dry.

Wouldn't it be nice to have sunshine all year.

Het papier is van Maja Design. Rondom heb ik met de hand genaaid.

Het stempeltje is van LOTV - Emma rose garden, gekleurd met distress inkt.

Het tekstrondje is ook van LOTV. 

Ik heb wat met wat witte acrylverf her en der gedept en bij het stempeltje ook wat frantage gebruikt.

I dabbed around the DP with white paint and also some frantage around the stamped image.

Friends are flowers...

Tussen de bedrijven door heb ik deze vintage kaart gemaakt. 

Inbetween all sorts of things I managed to make this vintage card.

Het papier is van Pion. Gemat op kraft en alle randjes, zoals altijd met de hand genaaid. Ik heb hiervoor ecru borduurgaren gebruikt. Het plaatje en tekst komt ook van een Pion vel vandaan.

The DP is from Pion, matted on kraft and the sewing is done by hand. 

The image and sentiment are also from Pion DP.
