Een sketch challenge - ATSC

Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC en Nadell heeft een leuke sketch gemaakt.

It's time for a new challenge at ATSC and Nadell has made a lovely sketch to follow.

Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Maya design. Ik vind deze kleuren combi zo mooi voor kerstkaarten.

Het stempeltje is van LOTV - Polar Pair, gekleurd met distress inkt.

Verder weer mijn favoriete poinsettia mal van Magnolia en ook de creatable tak van Marianne Design en pons van Martha Stewart gebruikt.

Let it snow

Het is woensdag en dat houdt in dat het tijd is voor mijn bijdrage voor het Bildmalarna blog.

Daarvoor heb ik dit kerstkaartje gemaakt.

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for my creation for on the Bildmalarna blog.

Therefore I made this Christmas card.

Het papier is Bildmalarna Snowy day - Flowers. Het is gemat op ribbelkarton.
De randjes heb ik wat gescheurd en een beetje kant erachter gedaan.
Het naaiwerk is zoals altijd met de hand gedaan.
Het stempeltje is  Mimosa ear muffs, gekleurd met distress inkt (refills).
Gebruikte mallen: Marianne Design creatables, MS pons, Magnolia.
Witte acryl verf, frantage, belletjes, touw
Bloemen Wild Orchid

The paper I used is Snowy day - Flowers. 

I matted it on currugated cardboard and distressed the edges.

Here and there there's a little bit of lace popping out around the sides.

The sewing is done by hand.

The stamp is Mimosa ear muffs. I coloured her with distress ink (refills)
Dies: Marianne design creatables, MS punch, Magnolia.
White paint, frantage, belles, twine.
Flowers: Wild Orchid

Onder een winter sterren hemel

Alweer een week om, waar blijft de tijd, kerstmis komt er al snel aan maar ik ga net zoals verleden jaar niet stressen met het maken van kerstkaarten. Wat af is wordt verstuurd naar de mensen die een eigen gemaakte kaart heel erg waarderen en de rest krijgt een mooie zelf gekochte.
Hier is er weer een Bildmalarna creatie.

Another week has past, time flies and it will soon be Christmas. Just like last year I'm not going to stress myself making Christmas cards. What's finished goes to those people who realy appreciate a self made card and the rest will get a lovely bought one.

Het papier is van de laatste kerstcollectie Snowy day - straw buck brown.
De bloemen zijn gemaakt met Snowy day Flowers
Alle randjes met de hand genaaid en wat met wittte verf gedept.
Het stempeltje is van verleden jaar LWF Under the stars. Ik vind ze zo lief met haar kerstjurkje aan al rijdend op haar paard onder de sterren hemel.
Het is gekleurd met distress inkt

The paper I used is from the latest Christmas release Snowy day - Straw buck brown.
The flowers are made with Snowy day Flowers.

The sewing is done by hand and I also dabbed around with some white paint.

The image is a stamp from last year. I love this stamp, doesn't she look sweet with her Christmas dress on riding her horse in the winter night. 

 I coloured it with distress ink.

Merry Christmas in het rood

Niet al mijn vrienden en familie houden van kaarten met een "cute" afbeelding erop vandaar dat ik altijd een paar kerstkaarten maak met een tekst als midden punt. Dit is er eentje van.

Not all my friends and family like cards with "cute" images  so I allways make a few Christmas cards with a sentiment as focus. This is the latest one I made.

Het paper wat ik heb gebruikt is Bildmalarna Frosty Christmas Red. 

Gemat op kraft en de randjes, zoals altijd, met de hand genaaid. Ik  gebruikt hiervoor een prikmal (uit de oude doos) en naai met twee draadjes splijt borduurgaren.

De tekst is een stempeltje van Bildmalarna Merry Christmas Flower.

The paper I used is Frosty Christmas- Red. I matted it on kraft and did the sewing by hand.

LWF Scarf in het blauw

Vandaag wil ik jullie een kerstkaartje laten zien wat ik ook op de Bildmalarna blog heb geplaats.

Today I would like to show you a card I also posted on the  Bildmalarna blog.

Het papier is Bildmalarna Snowy day - Frost.  Ik heb de randen met witte verf en met stickles bewerkt. In het echt glittert het heel mooi, jammer dat het niet op de foto te zien is.

Alle stiksels zijn zoals altijd met de hand gedaan.

De stempel is Bildmalarna LWF Scarf, gekleurd met distress inkt en rondom de tag randjes Aleens true snow en stickles.

Het bedeltje Silver clocks op de onderste ster komt ook uit de Bildmalarna webshop.

Verder heb ik een Avec randpons en sterren mal van de boekenvoordeel gebruikt.

The paper I used is Snowy day - Frost. 

I went around the edges with white paint and stickles. In real it has a lovely sparkle it's a shame it can't been seen on the photo.

The sewing is done by hand. 

The stamp is LWF Scarf, I coloured with distress ink and I dabbed the tag edges with  Aleens true snow and also stickles for extra sparkle.

The charm on the star at the bottom of the card is Silver clocks.
Furthermore I used an Avec edge punch and Star dies

Favoriete mallen en ponsen

Het is vandaag weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC en we hebben als thema: 

gebruikt je favoriete ponsen/snijmallen. 

Niet zo moeilijk want we hebben allemaal wel favorieten die we vaak gebruiken.

Ik heb met een paar van mijn favorieten deze kerstkaart gemaakt.

A new challenge at ATSC starts today with the theme:

use your favorite dies/punches.

Not such a difficult challenge as we all have favorites we often use.

I used a few of my favorites to make this Christmas card.

Het papier is van Pion.

De stempel is van Crafty Individuals., gekleurd met distress inkt.

De magnolia poinsettia is een van mijn favoriete mallen om  bloemen te maken voor op kerstkaarten. 

Ik gebruik heel vaak creatables van Marianne Design voor takken. De kleine takken zijn gemaakt met een Martha Stewart pons en nog een rand pons van Avec.

The DP is from Pion.

The stamp is from Craty Individuals.

The poinsettia die from Magnolia is one of my favorites for flowers on Christmas cards.

I use cretables from Marianne Design very often, especially for branches and leaves.

The little branches are made with a punch from Martha Stewart.

I also used an edge punch from Avec with I also use quite often.

Mijn teamgenotes hebben weer prachtige creaties gemaakt, neem een kijkje en nog leuker doe ook mee met onze challenge.

Mimosa feeding the birds

Weer een week voorbij, waar blijft de tijd maar het is dus weer woensdag en tijd voor mijn Bildmalarna kaart. Ik heb een kerstkaart gemaakt met een van de nieuwste Bildmalarna stempels.

Another week has passed, time flies these days and so it's Wednesday again and that means it's time for a  Bildmalarna card.

I made a Christmas card with one of the new Bildmalarna stamps.

Het papier is van verleden jaar,  Frosty Christmas - Green Christmas. 

De afbeelding is Mimosa winter birds. Ik heb gekleurd met distress inkt en stickles op de bont. 

Rondom de afbeelding en op de takjes heb ik wat frantage gestrooid, leuk spul is dat!

Gebruikte mallen: Marianne design creatables, Magnolia doohickeys, Martha Stewart pons.

The DP is from last year, Frosty Christmas - Green Christmas.

The image is Mimosa winter birds. I coloured with distress ink and put some stickles on the 'fur'

I put some frantage around the image and a little on the branches.

Een kerstkus

Het is weer woensdag en dus weer tijd voor mijn Bildmalarna kaartje.

Zoals jullie zien is het weer een kerstkaartje geworden.

It's Wednesday again and that means it's time for my Bildmalarna card.

As you can see I've made another Christmas card.

Het papier is Bildmalarna Snowy day - Red. Het heeft een mooie dieprode kleur en dat vind ik altijd mooi voor kerst.

Het schattige stelletje is een stempel van verleden jaar Christmas Kiss.

Ik heb het gekleurd met distress inkt en wat glitters voor op hun vleugeltjes.

De kerstbomen zijn gemaakt met Marianne design creatables en aleens true snow voor de 'sneeuw' .

Het bedeltje onderaan de strik is ook van Bildmalarna.

The paper I used is Snowy day - Red. I realy like the deep red colours of the paper.

The cute little couple is a stamp from last year,  Christmas Kiss.

I coloured it with distress ink and added some glitters on the wings.

The little Christmas bell charm can be found Here, there are lots of other lovey charms as well.

The trees are made with a Marianne Design creatable and Aleen's true snow for the snow.

Christmas is coming

Vandaag begint weer een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC en zoals de titel zegt, kerst komt eraan, dus maak een kerstcreatie, vergeet niet te stempelen want we zijn addicted to stamps.

A new challenge starts today at  ATSC and as the titel says, Christmas is coming, so make something for Christmas, don't forget to stamp somewhere though as we are addicted to stamps.

Het papier wat is heb gebruikt is een restje, jammer want het is zo mooi, het heeft een mooie glans erover en ook de kleuren, zilver blauw/grijs vind ik erg mooi.

De kerstengel is van LOTV - Holy Light, gekleurd met distress inkt, glitters op de vleugels en Aleens true snow rond gedept.

De tekst banner is van Bildmalarna en de postzegel van Whimsey.

Het kantje heeft ook glitters erin verwerkt , helaas niet te zien op de foto

The paper I used is a left over, a pity as it is lovely paper, it has a shine over it and I like the colours silver, blue/grey as well.

The Christmas angel is from LOTV, coloured with distress ink, glitters on the wings and I dabbed around with Aleen's true snow.

The banner is from Bildmalarna and the stamp from Whimsey

The lace has a fine glitter in it, unfortunately you can't see it on the photo.

A Christmas flower

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om een creatie op de Bildmalarna blog te plaatsen en daar heb ik deze kaart voor gemaakt.

It's my turn today to make something for the Bildmalarna blog and this is the card I made.

Het papier is van de nieuwe kerst serie, Snowy day - Flowers en Snowy day. 

Het stempeltje is Christmas flower. Ik heb gekleurd met distress inkt (refills) en wat glitter op de 'bont' gedaan.

De postzegel is van Whimsey

De bloemen heb ik al jaren,  volgens mij komen ze van Wild Orchid vandaan. 

 Het hoekje was zilverkleurig maar ik heb het wit geverfd, wel zo dat er nog wat zilver doorschijnt.

De hulstblaadjes zijn gemaakt met een Martha Stewart pons.

Snowman hugs

Voor een verandering heb ik een side step kaart gemaakt, tenminste ik denk dat dit model zo heet.

Ik heb het gemaakt met een van de nieuwe Bildmalarna stempels erop.

For a change I made a side step card, at least I think thats what this model is called.

I made it with one of the new Bildmalarna stamps on it.

Het papier is van verleden jaar  Frosty Christmas - Mr snowman.

Zien jullie de kleine sneeuwpop lachen op de achtergrond? Hij staat op het hoekje van het DP en ik vond hem leuk bij dit stempeltje passen.

Het stempeltje is Snowman hugs. Ik heb het gekleurd met distress inkt (refills) en nog wat glitter op het jasje van Mimosa. 

Voor de sneeuw heb ik witte acryl verf en aleens true snow gebruikt. In het echt zie je het glinsteren.

Do you notice the little snowman chuckling in the background?  He's on the corner of the DP and I thought he would go well with my little Christmas scene.

The stamp I used is Snowman hugs. I coloured with distress ink (refills) and some glitters for the 'fur' on Mimosa's coat.

For snow I used white acryl paint and aleens snow.

Je kan het model zo iets beter zien, al had ik de kaart iets schuiner moeten zetten om de zijkant wat meer in beeld te krijgen maar je krijgt zo wel een idee.

You can see the shape a bit beter on this photo. I realise I should have turned the card a bit more to the side to show you the shape better, but this gives you an idea.

Mimosa in de sneeuw

Bildmalarna heeft weer een nieuwe serie stempels, papier en bedeltjes uitgebracht, allemaal zo mooi en ik kon niet kiezen waarmee ik eerst een kaart zou maken. 

Ik heb uiteindelijk gekozen voor deze Mimosa meisje in de sneeuw.

Bildmalarna has released a new serie of stamps, papers and charms and they are all so lovely I couldn't choose what to use first.

I finally chose this cutie Mimosa.

Het papier is Snowy day - snowflake. 

De afbeelding is Mimosa falling snow. Ik heb haar gekleurd met distress inkt en H2O (H2O black orchid voor het jurkje en laarsjes) en glitters voor de bont randjes.

De banner is ook een van de nieuwe kerststempels mini Christmas banner. Op de bovenkant ervan heb ik wat witte verf en glitters gestrooid. 

Het bedeltje Big gift komt ook uit de Bildmalarna webshop.

Weer een kerstkaart

Ook al is het nog zomerweer ik heb weer een kerstkaart gemaakt.  

Ik heb een criss-cross model gemaakt, nep weliswaar want de kaart gaat op de gewone manier open. 

De label kan er wel uit maar ik heb er nog niets op gedaan.

Even though it's still summer weather I made another Christmas card. 

I made a criss-cross card. It's fake actually because the card opens in the 'normal' way. 

I just crossed the front pannels. The tag can be removed.

Het papier is Maja, nog over van vorig jaar.

Het schattige afbeelding is van LOTV - A Christmas carol, gekleurd met distress inkt.

(tattered rose, vintage photo, walnut stain, bundled sage, forest moss, aged mahogany, pumice stone, tumbled glass)

Voor de sneeuw heb ik glitter snow gebruikt en pareldruppels voor de vlokken.

De stikrandjes heb ik zoals altijd met de hand genaaid.

De eerste kerstkaart van 2013 en ATSC DT call

Vandaag begint weer een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC met thema: Shabby/Vintage.

Ik heb een soort van mengsel gemaakt, een beetje shabby en een beetje vintage, daar vind ik het tenminste op lijken, ik weet niet hoe ik het anders moet noemen.

Ik was de gelukkige winnaar van alle laatste nieuwe kerststempels van LOTV waar ik super blij mee ben en eenmaal terug van vakantie kon ik niet wachten om er iets mee te maken, dus hierbij mijn eerste kerstkaart van 2013.

I made a card with a bit of both, a bit shabby and a bit vintage looking, at least I think it looks like that, I don't know what style to call it.

I was the lucky winner of all the latest new Christmas stamps from LOTV and once back from our holidays I couldn't wait to use one of the adorable stamps, so here's my first Christmas card of 2013.
