Nieuwe kerst bij LOTV

Vandaag worden er weer nieuwe kerst digis, teksten, gekleurde afbeeldingen en  digitaal papier uitgebracht bij LOTV. 

De digis worden in jpgs en pngs bestanden uitgebracht zodat je ze over digitaal papier kan plaatsen. 

Het klinkt ingewikkeld maar dat is het niet. Je kan kiezen om de afbeelding op digitaal papier te plaatsen, de afbeelding blijft wit zodat je het zelf kan kleuren maar je hebt wel al een gekleurd achtergrond.

Mijn printer wilde niet meewerken dus heb ik een kaart met een "gewone" digi gebruikt,  maar op de LOTV facebook pagina staan  diverse mooie voorbeelden en ook duidelijk uitleg. Het lijkt ingewikkeld maar het is echt eenvoudig om te doen.

LOTV is launching more Christmas digis today including backing papers and coloured toppers.

The digis will be in jpgs en pngs so you can place them over the digital background and the image stays white so you can colour them yourself if you like.

My printer wouldn't work like it should so I made a card with a "normal" digi but if you look on the  LOTV facebook page you can see beautiful examples and a tutorial explaining how to use them.

 Het papier is van Pion.  De afbeelding is Christmas Post. Gekleurd met distress inkt en wat glitter accenten voor de sneeuw. De tekst is ook een van de nieuwe.

Gebruikte mallen: Spellbinder, Marianne Design, De bloemen zijn ook zelf gemaakt maar ik weet het merk mal niet meer. 

The DP is from Pion. The image is Christmas post. coloured with distress ink and some glitter for the snow. The sentiment is also one of the new ones.

Used dies: Spellbinder, Marianne Design. The flowers are handmade but I don't know the brand of die.

Een laatste zomer kaart

 Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij Stamping Sensations. Het thema is: Buiten.

Ik heb een easel kaart gemaakt met het mooi nieuw papier van Maja Design - Miles apart. Gemat op het bijpassend monochrome papier. 

De stempel is van LOTV - Summer View.  Ook de tekst is van LOTV.

Kleuren distress inkt: 

Meisje: tattered rose, tea dye, antique linen, vintage photo, walnut stain, spun sugat, victorian rose,        weathered wood, black soot.

Hondje en konijnen: frayed burlap, vintage photo, black soot

Landschap: vintage photo, walnut stain, gathered twigs, bundled sage, peeled paint, forest moss, spun    sugar, faded jeans. 

Lucht: Weathered wood

De bloemen heb ik gemaakt met het bijpassend monochroom papier, uitgestant met een mal van de Action, nat gemaakt, opgefrommeld en laten drogen. Daarna voorzichtig wat uitelkaar gehaald en een pareltje in het midden geplakt. De bladeren zijn gemaakt met een mal van Marianne Design en de rand is gemaakt met een mal van Joy.

Distress ink colours:

Girl: tattered rose, tea dye, antique linen, vintage photo, walnut stain, spun sugat, victorian rose,        weathered wood, black soot.

Dog and bunnies: frayed burlap, vintage photo, black soot

Landscape: vintage photo, walnut stain, gathered twigs, bundled sage, peeled paint, forest moss, spun    sugar, faded jeans. 

Sky: Weathered wood

The flowers are made with the monochrome paper cut with a die from the Action (local budget store).

I made them wet with water and crumpled them up. Once dry carefully folded them apart and put a pearl in the middle. The leaves are made with a die from Marianne Design. The edge die is from Joy.

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas

Onze vakantie is weer voorbij. We zijn thuis gebleven vanwege de Corona maar we hebben ons prima vermaakt.  Om de drukte in steden te vermijden zijn we met de auto erop uit gegaan naar de bossen, hei en vennen en we hebben veel gewandeld. Gelukkig hadden we mooi weer, al was het eigenlijk wel te warm, beter dan regen en kou. We konden buiten op een terras zitten en wat eten en drinken zo hadden we toch een beetje buitenland gevoel. Terwijl het afstand houden prima ging. 

Vandaag laat ik weer een kerstkaart zien, gemaakt met nog een van de nieuwste digis van LOTV 

We moeten tenslotte op tijd beginnen met het maken van kerstkaarten om de stress te vermijden van het op het laatste moment "moeten" en de nieuwe digis zijn zo schattige dat het echt geen "straf" is.  

Voor mensen die niet willen kleuren heeft LOTV ook reeds ingekleurde digi vellen. 

Our holidays are over and life is getting back to normal again. We stayed at home due to Corona but we did enjoy ourselves. To avoid busy places we went out with the car to the woods and moors and we had long walks. Lucky we had good weather although it realy was too warm, better than rain and cold. We could sit outside to have a meal and a drink so it did feel a bit like being abroad in a warm country and keeping our distance to other people wasn't a problem.

Today I'm showing you another Christmas card made with one of the newest digis from LOTV.

We do have to start in time making our Christmas cards to avoid the last minute stress don't we and these new digis are so cute that its fun to make a card with them.

(LOTV has also precoloured sheets for the people who don't colour)

Nieuwe kerst 2020

Met deze tropische temeraturen denk je aan alles behalve Kerst maar LOTV brengt aanstaande Vrijdag weer nieuwe Kerststempels (digis) uit en ik laat alvast een ervan zien.  Er komen Kerstmannen, Pinguïns, en sneeuwpoppen. Ook komen er nieuwe Kerst teksten

With this tropical heat the last thing you think about is Christmas but LOTV are releasing new Christmas stamps(digis) this Friday and this is a sneak peak of one of them. There wil be Santa's, Pinguins and snowmen. All so adorable. There will also be some new Christmas sentiments.

Helaas heb ik niet veel kunnen knutselen de laatste tijd  maar het is toch gelukt om deze kaart, die er al weken lag vanmorgen af te maken.

I haven't had a lot of crafting time lately but I managed to finished this card, that had been half finished for ages, this morning.

De basis is gemaakt met een mal van Studio Light.

Het papier is een restje van Maja Design.

De digi is van LOTV - Woof You. Gekleurd met distress inkt.

De tekst is ook een digi van LOTV

Ik heb nog wat bloemetjes, takjes en touw erop gedaan om het af te maken.

Alle dieren groot en klein

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij Stamping Sensations. 

Het thema is: Alle dieren groot of klein.

The theme is: All creatures great and small.

Het papier is van een hele oude blok van K&Company. 

De stempel is van LOTV - Party Parade Nu niet meer in rubber te koop maar nog wel als digi.

De stempel had ik allang maar nooit toe gekomen om het te gebruiken. Zoals altijd heb ik gekleurd met distress inkt.

De tekst is ook van LOTV. 

Gebruikte mallen: Joy, Marianne Design en een mini pons van Pipoos voor de vlinder.

The DP is from a very old paperblock from K&Company. 

The stamp is from LOTV  Party Parade. I had it for more than a year but never got round to using it.

It is no longer available in rubber but you can get it as a digi. As allways I coloured it with distress inkt.

The sentiment is also from LOTV.

Used dies: Joy, Marianne Design and a mini punch for the butterfly.

Alfabet letters

Eindelijk wat tijd gehad gisteren om deze kaart af te maken. De dagen vliegen om tegenwoordig. 

Vandaag worden de Tea Party digis uitgebracht bij LOTV. Er is een compleet alfabet set, 12 met tea party muisjes en konijntjes en 34 extras om te combineren.

At last I had some time to finish this card yesterday.  The days just seem to fly. 

LOTV is launching new digis today. There is a complete alphabet set, 12 with tea party bunnies and mice and 34 extras to use in combination of all sorts.

Het papier is van Bildmalarna (niet langer mer te krijgen), gemat op Kraft en alle randjes heb ik met de hand genaaid.

Ik heb de letter W gebruikt met de " ishes" van de Alphawords  en Happy Birthday van de Scroll teksten.

The DP is from Bildmalarna (not available anymore), matted on Kraft and all the sewing is done by hand.

I used the W together with the "ishes" from the Alphawords and the Scroll sentiments.

Just to say LOTV

Vandaag een kaart gemaakt met een van de nieuwe digis van LOTV.  

Sommige digis waren er ooit als rubber stempel maar zijn nu als digi te koop.

Er staat eigenlijk geen tekst op de envelop maar ik heb een digitale tekst van LOTV ingevoegd.

Je kan natuurlijk zelf er ook iets op zetten of gewoon leeg laten.

Some images used to be rubber stamps and are now available as a digi.

There is no sentiment on the enveloppe, I added a tekst from LOTV. So you have the choice to leave it empty or add a sentiment yourself.

De  Tekst is een van de sketchy wensen set.

For a Special Friend

Dit is een kaart gemaakt op verzoek van mijn nichtje die Engeland woont.

Een van haar vriendinnen werd 50 en ze wilde een bijzondere kaart geven. Omdat ze regelmatig met haar vriendin ergens koffie gaat drinken vroeg ze of ik deze stempel wilde gebruiken.

Het is ook meteen mijn DT voorbeeld voor de nieuwe challenge bij Stamping Sensations.

Het thema is:  Make it Colourful.  

Je mag felle kleuren gebruiken, veel kleuren of zoals ik, pastel kleuren zolang de focus op het stempelen blijft.

This is a card I made on request by my cousin who lives in The UK.

One of her friends had her 50th Birthday and my cousin wanted to give her a special card.

Because she and her friend often go out for coffee together she asked to use this stamp.

It is also my DT example for the new challenge starting today at Stamping Sensations.

The theme is make it colourful.

You can use bold colours, lots of colours or soft colours as long as the focus stays on stamping.
