Een mini kerstalbum

Allereerst wil ik iedereen een gelukkig nieuwjaar wensen.

Hopelijk wordt dit jaar gauw weer normaal en kunnen we weer gewoon gaan leven zonder lockdown en restricties. 

Ik had mezelf even een blogpauze gegeven met de feestdagen en ik had ook totaal geen puf of inspiratie om iets te knutselen. Wel had onderstaande album, waar ik al een jaar eerder aan begonnen was, afgemaakt. De kleuren zijn op de foto niet zo mooi als in het echt maar met dit somber donker weer kan ik er niet veel meer van maken.

Hopefully this year will soon get back to normal and we can live without the lockdown and restrictions.

I had given myself a short  blogpause.  I had no inspiration  to make cards but I did finish this Christmas album which I had started on the year before. The colours are much more richer in real life but with this dark and rainy weather these last weeks couldn't get them any better.

Er valt niet veel over te vertellen, de foto's spreken voor zich. Je kan er ook niet veel mee, het is gewoon voor de sier. 

Het was wel best leuk om onderhand, na een jaar,  eens af te maken maar ik had geen zin of inspiratie om er lang mee bezig te zijn dus het is vrij eenvoudig qua design. Als ik ooit weer een album maak zal ik wel wat meer met vakjes enz werken zodat je er ook foto's in kan doen.

Not much to tell as the photo's speak for themselves. You can't do very much with it, its only a decoration. 

It was nice to finally finish it, after more than a year, but I had no inspiration or time to give it much time so it's an easy design. If I make another album I'll spend more time on it and make spaces and flaps so it can be used for photo's.

Kerstmuisjes

Ik heb nog een kerstkaart gemaakt met labeltjes erop.  

 

I  made another Christmas card with labels on. 

   Het papier is van Maja Design - Happy Christmas, gemat op het bijpassend monochroom papier. De takken en bloemen zijn ook gemaakt met monochrome papier.

De stempels zijn van LOTV - Christmouse Holly en Christmouse Bauble. 

Gekleurd met distress inkt. Gebruikte kleuren:  Tattered rose, vintage photo, bungled sage, Forest moss,  Brushed corduroy, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany,    

De tekst is ook van LOTV. Cute Christmas sentiments. 

The DP is from Maja Design - Happy Christmas, matted on matching monochroom. The branches and flowers are also made with the monochroom paper.The stamps are from LOTV - Christmouse Holly en Christmouse Bauble.Coloured with distress ink.  Colours: Tattered rose, vintage photo, bungled sage, Forest moss,  Brushed corduroy, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, 

The sentiment is also from LOTV Cute Christmas sentiments.

Tussen de kerstkaarten een verjaardags kaart

Tussen de kerstkaarten in een verjaardag kaart wat ik vorige maand voor mijn vader had gemaakt maar nog niet op mijn blog had gezet.

Mijn vader is altijd aan het klussen aan zijn auto dus ik vond dit wel een toepasselijke stempel.

Inbetween the Christmas cards a birthday card I made last month for mij Dad.

My Dad is allways working on his car and I thought this stamp to be perfect for on his card.

De basis kaart gewoon in drie gelijke delen gevouwen.

Het papier is van een hele oude papierblok, ik geloof Basic Grey maar weet het niet zeker.

De stempel is van LOTV. Gekleurd met distress inkt. 

Gebruikte kleuren: Tattered rose, Tea dye, vintage photo, Walnut stain, Bundled sage, Rustic wilderniss, Antique linen, Stormy sky, Black soot.

De tekst is ook van LOTV.

I folded the base card into three same sizes for the panels

The design papers are from a very old paperblock, I think from Basic Grey.

The stamp is from LOTV, coloured with distress ink.

Warmest thoughts & Best wishes

Vandaag weer een kerstkaart af gekregen. Het schiet nog niet echt op met de voorraad maar ik ga niet meer stressen, wat ik af krijg is meegenomen en anders dan maar niet en stuur ik een gekochte.

Another Christmas card finished today.  I still haven't made enough but I am not going to stress and try to make more. What I manage to make is fine and what I have short I will send a bought one.

Een sneeuwpop met voer voor de vogeltjes

Het is de eerste zondag in de maand en al jaren lang postte ik dan mijn DT voorbeeld voor de nieuwe challenge bij Stamping Sensations.  Door gebrek aan tijd heb ik besloten om uit het team te stappen. Jammer want ik was heel lang in het team maar soms moet je keuzes maken.

Ik was al gestopt met mijn DT werk voor Cute Card Thursday. 

Ik blijf  nog wel in het team voor Lili of the Valley en heb dan ook een kaart om te laten zien gemaakt met een van de schattige sneeuwpoppen.

It's the first Sunday in the Month and for years I then posted a DT card for the new challenge at Stamping Sensations. Due to my busy life I have stopped with the team. A difficult decision but you sometimes have to make choices.

I had already stopped with my DT work at Cute Card Thursday.

I am still in the Lili of the Valley team and I have made a card to show you with one of the cute snowmen.

Ietsjes anders

Vandaag een kaart met dezelfde design als mijn vorige kaart. Ik vond het idee met de labels leuk zodat ik er nog maar een heb gemaakt maar omdat deze vierkant is, in een andere kleur en met andere stempels, lijkt het toch heel anders.

Today a card with the same design as my previous card. I liked the idea with the tags so I made another one but this one is square, in another colour and with different stamps so it looks different than the other one.

 Het papier is van Maja design, Ik heb zoveel Maja design papier dat ik nog jaren vooruit kan, ander merken papier heb ik ook heel veel maar kom telkens weer bij de Maja terug vanwege de kleuren denk ik of omdat ze makkelijk te combineren zijn. 

De stempel is van LOTV - Christmas Angel Kindness. Deze is zowel digitaal als clear stempel te koop. Ik heb het gekleurd met distress ink en wat glitter op de vleugels gedaan. 

De tekst is  LOTV Elegant Christmas sentiments 

Ik heb overal weer met verf gedept voor het sneeuw effect, op de bloemen een beetje glitter gedaan en samen met het glitter ijsrand schittert de gehele kaart. 

Nog een paar parel sterretjes erop gedaan en ik heb weer een kerstkaart af.

The design papers are from Maja Design. I have lots of Maja design papers to last me for years. I also have lots and lots of other brands but keep coming back to The Maja papers, probably of the colours or that they are easy to match.

The stamp is from LOTV - Christmas Angel Kindness. You can get this one also as a Clearstamp, not only digital. 

I coloured the stamp with distress ink and put glitter on her wings.

I dabbed around with white paint for the snow and also put some glitter on the flowers. Together with the glitter icicle edge the whole card shines.

I added a few pearl stars and finished another of my Christmas cards.

Kerstkaart met labels

Vandaag laat ik jullie weer een kerstkaart zien.  

Today I have another Christmas card to show you

De kaart is 17,5 x 12,5 cm groot.

Het papier is van Maja Design, gemat op bijpassend monochroom. 

De stempel is van LOTV -Snow folk. Deze is digitaal maar het is ook als clearstempel nog te koop maar op is op. 

Ik heb het gekleurd met distress inkt. 

Gebruikte kleuren: Weathered wood, Bundled sage, Pealed paint, Festive berries, Fired brick, Antique linen, Scattered straw.

De tekst is ook van LOTV - Algemene en Kerst wensen. 

Zowel de stempel als de tekst heb ik als labels uitgesneden. Aan de bovenkant ervan wat kersttakjes en een bloem gemaakt, wat met witte verf gedept als sneeuw.

Nog een woodlandfee

Vandaag laat ik nog een kaart zien gemaakt met een van de Woodland Fairies and friends stempels van Lili of the Valley.  Ze zullen vanaf 25 oktober te verkrijgen zijn.

Today another card made with one of  Woodland Faries and Friends stamps from Lili of the Valley.

They will be availble from 25th October.

Nieuwe feetjes en extra's

Binnenkort komen er weer nieuwe feetjes uit bij Lili of the Valley, ook extra zoals paddestoelen, bloemen en dieren zodat je ze eventueel samen kan voegen.

Ik heb Sprite Fairy sitting samengevoegd met Toadstool bunting zodat ze op de paddenstoel zit.

Soon Lili of the Valley(LOTV) will be launching new Woodland fairies and also some extra like toadstools, flowers and animals so you can create your own scenery.

I have put Sprite Fairy onto  Toadstoel bunting.
