Polka dots

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC. We hebben gekozen voor het thema Polka dots (stippen).

Eerlijk gezegd had ik in de eerste instantie iets van stippen.... daar heb ik niets mee maar al zoekende tussen al mijn DP kwam ik van alles met tegen met stippen waaronder dit Pion papier.

Ik had ook nog een kaart zonder "poppetjes" en niet al te veel tierelantijnen nodig en heb daarom gekozen om alleen een tekst te stempelen met alleen bloemen als versiering. 

A new challenge starts today at ATSC. We chose the theme: Polka Dots.

To tell you the truth I thought polka dots... I haven't a thing with dots but looking through my DP I found allsorts with dots on allong with this Pion paper.

I also needed a card without an image and not a lot of embellishments so I chose to use a stamped sentiment with only flowers for decoration. 

Het papier is van Pion. Alle randjes zijn met de hand genaaid. De vlinder zijn uitgeknipt uit een Pion vel.

De tekst is een stempel van Bildmalarna. 

gebruikt mallen: Spellbinder, Joy, MD Creatable, Magnolia.

Mijn ATSC teamgenotes hebben prachtige creaties gemaakt, allemaal weer zo verschillend. 

Julllie hebben twee weken de tijd om met onze challenge mee te doen.

The DP is Pion. The stitchting is done by hand. The butterflies are cut out from Pion DP.

The sentiment is a stamp from Bildmalarna.

Een jaar zonneschijn

De zon is vandaag ver te zoeken, hopelijk gaat het wel weer schijnen, dit somber weer vind ik niet veel aan, maar ja als het maar droog blijft. 

Hadden we hier maar een heel jaar zonneschijn, lijkt me heerlijk.

There's no sun here yet today, hopefully it will start shining later on but most of all I hope it will stay dry.

Wouldn't it be nice to have sunshine all year.

Het papier is van Maja Design. Rondom heb ik met de hand genaaid.

Het stempeltje is van LOTV - Emma rose garden, gekleurd met distress inkt.

Het tekstrondje is ook van LOTV. 

Ik heb wat met wat witte acrylverf her en der gedept en bij het stempeltje ook wat frantage gebruikt.

Gebruikte mallen: Spellbinder, MD Creatable, Cheery Lynn, Magnolia doohicky

The DP is from Maja Design. The sewing is done by hand. 

The stamp is from LOTV-Emma rosegarden, coloured with distress ink.

The sentiment is also from LOTV.

I dabbed around the DP with white paint and also some frantage around the stamped image.

Friends are flowers...

Tussen de bedrijven door heb ik deze vintage kaart gemaakt. 

Inbetween all sorts of things I managed to make this vintage card.

Het papier is van Pion. Gemat op kraft en alle randjes, zoals altijd met de hand genaaid. Ik heb hiervoor ecru borduurgaren gebruikt. Het plaatje en tekst komt ook van een Pion vel vandaan.

The DP is from Pion, matted on kraft and the sewing is done by hand. 

The image and sentiment are also from Pion DP.

Bingo - ATSC

Vandaag begint een nieuwe Challenge bij ATSC. We hebben nu een bingokaart om te volgen. Kies drie dingen op een rij voor op je kaart. 

Ik heb de rij Diecuts/or punches -Pearls - Flowers gekozen voor op mijn kaart.

Een kaart voor mijn moeder

Dit is mijn tweede GDT kaart voor The ABC Challenge.  Het thema is L= voor Lagen

Deze kaart heb ik ook voor de verjaardag van mijn moeder gemaakt. 

This my second GDT card for The ABC Challenge. The theme is L= for Layers.

I also made this card for my mothers birthday.

Het papier is van Maya Design. Alle randjes zijn zoals gebruikelijk met de hand genaaid.

Ik wilde voor mijn moeder een stijlvolle, niet te drukke kaart maken dus heb ik alleen een tekst stempel gebruikt en geen "poppetje" De stempel is van Artemio, uitgestanst met mallen van Spellbinder.

De bladeren zijn gemaakt met een Creatable van Marianne Design.

The DP is from Maya Design. As allways I did the sewing by hand.

I wanted to make a stylish, not too embellished card for my mother so I only used a sentiment. The stamp is from Artemio cut out with dies from Spellbinder. The leaves are made with a Creatable from Marianne Design.

Ik ben op het moment zo goed als niet in blogland maar binnenkort krijg ik het een heel stuk rustiger en kan ik weer als vanouds bloggen en hopelijk ook weer wat meer kaarten maken.

Een simpel kaart

Ik was met DEZE kaart in de top vijf gekozen bij ABC Challenges en ik was uitgekozen om in de maand mei GDT zijn. 

Vandaag begint daar een nieuwe challenge met het thema  : K for Keep it simple. / Houd het simpel

De Sponsor van deze challenge is Oak Pond Creations en daar is de bloemen digi ook van.

I made top five with THIS card at ABC Challenges and I was also chosen to be GDT in May.

A new challengs starts today and the theme is K for keep it simple.

Het papier is van een oude lijn van Kaisercraft.

De digi is van Oak Pond Creations,  - StargazerLily. gekleurd met distress inkt en H2O.

Veel meer valt hierover niet te vertellen maar de opdracht is nu eenmaal houd het simpel en dat is het.

The digi is from OPC - StargazerLily, coloured with distress ink and H2O.

Not much more to say about the card but it fits the challenge and that's what counts.

Nieuwe Challenge ATSC

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC met het thema: Things with wings, dingen met vleugels.

Dit is mijn DT kaart voor de challenge maar neem ook een kijkje op de ATSC blog want mijn teamgenotes hebben weer prachtige creaties gemaakt als voorbeeld.

This is my DT card for the challenge but you should also pop over to the ATSC blog, my teamies have made gorgeous creations.

Het papier is van Maja. Alle randjes zijn met de hand genaaid. Ik blijf het een leuk werkje vinden en het effect vind ik ook mooi dus dat blijft er voorlopig wel in.

De stempel is van Bildmalarna - LWF Autumn day, gekleurd met distress inkt. Zoals jullie zien kan ze ook in de lente of zomer gebruikt worden, het ligt eraan hoe je ze kleurt.

De klimopbladeren zijn gemaakt met een creatable van Marianne design.

Het kantje is ook van Marianne design

Ik heb wat witte acrylverf gedept op de bloemen en bladeren om ze beter bij het papier te laten passen.

The DP is from Maja Design. The stitching is done by hand. I love doing the sewing by hand and I like the effect so you'll still be seeing this for a while.

The stamp is from Bildmalarna - LWF Autumn day, coloured with distress ink. As you can see, she can be used in the spring or summer as well, it just depends on how you colour her.

The ivy leaves are made with a creatable from Marianne design.

The lace is also from MD

I dabbed white paint on the leaves and flowers to make them match the DP.

GDT voor DSC

Omdat ik in de top drie was gekozen bij challenge 12 (Kant en lint) van Dutch Stamp Chickies mocht ik voor de nieuwe challenge GDT zijn. Helaas had ik geen tijd om een kaart op tijd af te hebben maar ik bofte want ik mocht een reminderkaart maken voor de lopende challenge met het thema: Babys.

Because I made top three in challenge 12 from Dutch Stamp Chickies I could be a GDT for the new challenge. Sadly I didn't have enough time to get a card made in time but I  made a reminder card for the running challenge instead. The theme is : Babys.

Het papier is van een oude papier blok maar het merk weet ik helaas niet.  

De stempel is van Bildmalarna Baby train, gekleurd met distress inkt.

De wolkjes zijn gemaakt met een stans van Joy, de letters erin komt van hetzelfde papierblok als het papier.

The DP is from an old paperblock. 

The stamp I used if from Bildmalarna  Baby train, coloured with distress ink.

The clouds are made with a die from Joy, the letters on them are from the DP.

Een trouwkaart - ATSC

Vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge bij ATSC en als thema hebben we: een trouwkaart.

Ik heb een center step kaart gemaakt, een leuk model vind ik en ook makkelijk om te maken.

Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Magnolia.

Het stempel is van Whimsey - Bird swing, gekleurd met distress inkt.
Tekst stempel van Kaiserkraft.

Gebruikte mallen: Spellbinder, Marianne Design, Magnolia doohickey.

I made a centre step card. I like the shape and it's easy to make.

Een briefkaart

Dit is een kaartje wat er al een paar weken lag te vallen. Er moest nog iets bij maar wat??

Gisterenavond heb ik er nog een paar bloemen en nog wat parels erbij gedaan en toen vond ik het al wat beter.

This is a card wat has been lying around for weeks. It missed something but I didn't know what.

Last night I put a few more flowers on it, added some pearls and it looks better know.

Het papier is van Maja. Alle randjes zijn met de hand genaaid.

 De mooie vintage roos briefkaart is een stempel van Joy, gekleurd met distress inkt en H2O. In de hoeken heb ik wat frantage gedaan en erachter zit wat verbandgaas.

 De donkere bloemen zijn ook van Maja papier gemaakt.

Gebruikte mallen: Spellbinder, Marianne Design, Joy, Cheery Lynn.

The lovely vintage rose postcard is a stamp from Joy. Coloured with distress inkt and 

Twinkling H2O. 

I used frantage on the corners and I put some bandage (looks like cheesecloth) behind it.

The dark flowers are made with Maja DP.
